Calendar of Happy Customers

Cricket Wireless, in collaboration with the creative agency Argonaut, launched an innovative social campaign called Calendar of Happy Customers in the United States in November 2022. This film campaign, rooted in the Electronics and Technology industry, showcases the brand’s commitment to customer satisfaction and connectivity through a heartfelt narrative centered around Steve, who runs a thriving cookie business powered by Cricket’s fast 5G service with no hidden fees. The campaign highlights how Cricket’s reliable network enables customers like Steve to focus on what they love without worrying about connectivity or bills, fostering strong brand loyalty captured under the hashtag #CricketNation. This campaign marks a significant milestone for Avalon Studios, Argonaut’s full-service in-house production company established in 2019, which has evolved from producing internal content to delivering high-caliber productions tailored to diverse client needs, including comprehensive content creation for Cricket Wireless throughout the year. Calendar of Happy Customers is Avalon’s largest production to date, featuring sophisticated live-action filming, expert editing, motion graphics, precise color grading, and meticulous finishing. This production efficiency is achieved by leveraging the unique advantages of Avalon as an internal studio, ensuring creative excellence while maintaining resourcefulness. Notably, the campaign was directed by Jasmin Guinn, Avalon’s award-winning Senior Motion Designer recognized by Adweek’s Creative 100 and Rising Stars of Madison Avenue, chosen after a competitive client-led selection process. Designed to evoke the warmth and spirit of the holiday and winter seasons, this campaign combines storytelling with technical prowess to reinforce Cricket Wireless’s position as a customer-centric brand that continuously supports and enables its users’ ambitions and lifestyles.

The "Calendar of Happy Customers" campaign by Cricket Wireless, developed by Argonaut with production led by Avalon Studios, emphasizes reliability and simplicity in wireless service as integral to customers’ everyday lives. Central to the campaign’s value proposition is the promise of a seamless and affordable connectivity experience—highlighted by features such as fast 5G service and transparent pricing—which enables customers like Steve, a small business owner, to focus on what matters most without distractions from hidden fees or unreliable service. This positions Cricket as a dependable partner that supports individual goals and lifestyles, fostering long-term customer loyalty. The market strategy leverages a lifestyle-focused narrative that connects service quality directly with customer satisfaction and well-being during the emotionally resonant holiday and winter seasons. By showcasing relatable, real-life users benefiting from Cricket’s offering, the campaign taps into the insight that consumers prioritize dependable technology and clear value when selecting wireless providers, especially in a competitive telecom landscape. The creative execution—a blend of live-action storytelling enriched with motion graphics and high-quality post-production—serves to humanize the brand while maintaining an engaging, resource-efficient production model through Avalon’s in-house capabilities. Additionally, choosing an award-winning creative director known for innovative motion design further differentiates the campaign in the crowded telecom category. Overall, the campaign’s approach balances emotional connection with pragmatic messaging to reinforce Cricket Wireless as a customer-centric brand grounded in practical benefits.
